Raising children in Orange County is expensive. That’s why, when it comes to filing your taxes, it’s helpful to take advantage of free tax preparation and cash back tax credits. As a mom, here’s what you need to know about filing taxes this year:
Income Filing Requirement
While you may not have to file taxes if you made less than $19,400 in 2022, you may be eligible to claim cash back tax credits that can only be claimed by filing your tax return.
OC Free Tax Prep
If your household made less than $60,000, you may qualify to have your federal & state taxes prepared for FREE by an IRS-certified volunteer at an OC Free Tax Prep location near you. This program is offered by Orange County United Way and helped over 14,000 taxpayers last year!
